Periana has a population of about 2,000 people. The town is rightly famous for its olive oil and you can view production in the local co-operative. It makes a good present to take back to the UK.

The town has banks, many various shops and supermarkets and lots of bars. You can buy everything you need in the town. The locals are very friendly and like nothing better to return your 'Hola' and smile.

This is unspolit rustic Spain. Periana is typically Andalusian Spanish. It is set in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas and makes an ideal base for touring. Granada and Malaga are one hour away and Seville and Cordoba 2-3 hours. The nearest beaches are just half an hour away in Torre de Mar, and Nerja, with its famous caves, is just 40 minutes away.

Periana is surrounded by National Parks and stunning scenery. From the roof terrace of the house you have stunning panoramic views. Relax here in the evening and watch the sun set in the mountains whilst sipping your wine!
